aura does not collect, store, or share any of your personal data. Everything stays on your iPhone.
All data you enter in aura — migraine entries, daily check-ins, medications, notes — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data never leaves your iPhone.
There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, no servers, and no databases controlled by us. If you delete the app, all data is permanently deleted.
aura may request your location when you log a migraine or daily check-in. This is used solely to fetch current weather conditions (barometric pressure, temperature, humidity) through Apple's WeatherKit service, which may help identify weather-related migraine patterns.
aura contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not know who uses the app or how it is used.
The only external service used by aura is Apple WeatherKit, which is operated by Apple Inc. and subject to their privacy policy. No other third-party services are used.
You can export your data as CSV files at any time through the app's Settings. Exported files are generated locally on your device. What you do with those files is entirely your choice.
aura does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is transmitted from the app, no special provisions are required.
If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since aura does not collect contact information, we cannot notify users directly.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, you can reach us at privacy@aura-app.com.
